New project!!!

Hi Lovers

I have just signed a brand spanking new project that I seriously can't WAIT to get this ball rollin! 

AID tends to do the boho thing a lot...and trust me I still love it, But when my newest clients contacted me to take on their 1930's Georgian style manse (black shutters and all)

I JUMPED up and down that I was gonna get the chance to flex my rock and roll glamour chic muscles!

These folks have some pretty fantastic taste.

We are talking beautiful wood tones, velvety fabrics, de gourney wallpaper, animal prints, and art to die for...the whole SHEBANG

I am in office organization mode...

I laugh at how ridiculous my office situation is...I am a damn interior designer, who lives in serious disorganization and clutter.

I have so much fabric it's obscene and NO WHERE to put it all!

I currently have one expedit from ikea..but I am thinking about adding a second...

NEW SERIES: DESK DIARIES

I am typically buried in all kinds of shit on my desk...

normally it's bills but sometimes it's fabric...oodles and oodles of fabric.

Today I have a presentation for a pretty and serene, clean vibe master bedroom....

Bailey is opening a store in Houston....she also developed a beyond pretty bedding line inspired by a few blogging designer ladies and I happen to be among the lucky bunch chosen to inspire her!

what happened in Vegas..

A'int stayin in Vegas..

I am gonna re-cap it with you lovers, just in case you care!

Here is the run-down...

I went to Vegas mainly to shop for clients and the Shoppe, 

but ended up mainly just acting like a silly goose with Mearse and dreaming about winning it all on the 5 cent slots!

When I did work here is what it looked like.

I found this chair....It will be mine (well a lucky clients, technically)

These are perf for a Massive Master Bedroom I am working on.... 

Loving this affordable art and the bright blue birdies!

So I left overwhelmed and went to the pool

where Jamie and I got roofied and it was a blast.

But we ate some stolen breadsticks and got our act together ..

...so that we could join the lovely and talented Betsy Burnham for dinner

Then I gambled into the wee hours of the night with my trusty sidekick Katie and a new friend we met gambling that I lovingly dubbed 

"The Barnacle"

She was missing teeth, smoked like a chimney, probably had a prescription drug problem, but had a real heart of gold.... salt of the earth type o gal.

More things happened, but mainly I forgot them.....because of the roofy and the barnacle.

I get about 5-10 emails a day from lovers asking me about where and how much it's gonna cost to get some of the stuff you all see in my designs.

I am an interior designer first and a blogger second, so unfortunately I run into a problem when it comes down to divulging my sources for all the worlds to read.

I am always so tempted to just give you all every detail of what I do and tell you all what it costs but then I would be broke and my kid would have to get a part time job just to help pay the bills....

she's 3 and I am pretty sure that's illegal

anyways....I want everyone to get a piece of designer....and so comes in

I have all types of things in the pipeline but with only myself and my trusty sidekick Katie working on them, my to do list is crazy long and getting longer by the minute.

First order of business is to find a talented new friend to help us out in the graphic department.

I need a person to jump on board that can work with me implementing new design ideas for the blog, website, and shoppe.

It would be crucial that you speak photoshop and html and it's also super important that you can get down with blogspot.com

You do not need to live in LA, but you obvs have to be able to email and Skype with me
