So here is one of the 2 rooms and I am currently working on.

It's been a long couple days but we should be all wrapped up on Saturday!

Who in the what now?

The world of blog is a festering cesspool of all manner of people, places, and things in this world.

It is in said cesspool that I have "met" some pretty phenomenal ladies...(one gent) and been introduced to some outrageous talent I may have never had the fortune of knowing had it not been for the beauty of the blog.

The funny and inspiring Bailey is a fellow bloggin, designing, super Mama I like to call a "blog-pal" that has just knocked my socks clean off with the anticipated unveiling of her new home George Banks.

The color splashed throughout this house is bananas....

The fact that her husband allows such a splash makes me think there is not a more perfect pair in the universe that these two...nor a cooler husband around.

I like a girl with balls....and Bailey, she has a pair! 

You have probably all seen these getting mad love on Pinterest and Design Sponge but I don't give a rats!

Moody Monday

It's install week for client "pretty much perfect"

Amber Interiors is gonna be all a fluster as Katie and I run around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to pull it all together over the next 7 days!

We will be running mostly on coffee and design-adrenaline, which is always interesting

One of the rooms we are installing has dark walls and a moody vibe.... I can't wait to show ya lovers!

Hey Lovers!

I was approached to curate a sale for Joss & Main a while back and its gonna be going live soon!

Why in the Hell?

Hay thayer friends!!

I am officially stupid....here is why

Lately I do things with zero common sense..

I never, ever say anything accept the word "Yes" when most of the time I wanna yell "no no NOOOO"

At least 4 times a day I whisper to myself..."Hey Amber, why in the hell did you do that??"

for example

Hey Amber, why in the hell did you say yes to having a magazine come and shoot your house when you can barely remember to brush your teeth or pick up your laundry off the floor??

Hey Amber , why in the hell would you decide to rip open your bathroom two days after your husband gets home from being gone for 2 months and then force him to do demo and think about plumbing when all he wants to do is spend time with his kid and wife....

Hey Amber, why in the HELL would you offer up what little time you have left in your insane life and schedule 4 room installs and a brand new client design project in the next 2-3 weeks (read above husband just got home and leaving for two months at the end of June, remodeling bathroom, and have a huge photo shoot)...all to be completed the end of June???

Why in the HELL?????

As Katie likes to say "I come from a place of yes" and as I like to say "chaos is comforting"

Sometimes I must admit though, my hungry ass bites off way more than I can chew.

Lets seg-way into my bathroom affairs... a great example of taking on too much...

This is all happening now and I wish I could wiggle my nose to make it all go away.
