Raise your hand if you read fashion blogs and then go stare at yourself in the mirror for a minute and think....
"Jeez, I wish I was that fancy"
I am so jealous of people that care enough to put a comb through their hair in the morning.... or slap on some make-up, let alone put together a full outfit and then take photos of it!
I can barely get my ass to the mall to buy underwear, let alone an outfit.
My new years resolution...for next year, is to try and be a bit more fancy...
That is what I would wear...

I've decided that those fashion bloggers take their pictures all in one day and then make it look like they were that fancy for a full week. There's just no way! But GREAT earrings you've selected.

Which is why I don't have pics of me on my blog. If I did it would be a pick of me in a swim suit that doesnt really fit properly with my hair in a bun, no make-up and a glass of wine in my hand (hence the swim suit not fitting). But I'm a happy girl that way!!! Blowing my locks out to look perfect, i hate that shit!!!! You are perfect just the way you are Amber!

ReplyDeleteUgh I sometimes wish I could even afford some new outfits. Then I gotta give myself a slap and make myself realize that we just can't at the moment and it's ok. I just gotta be more creative! I do have some great pieces. And diy is my best friend.

ReplyDeleteI think that is why I love the fashion blogs so much, they send me, if just for a minute to an other-world where I'm not surrounded by a crying demanding child, mountains of laundry and stacks of dishes, they send me to a world when I didn't have to stress about finding time for myself, because I always had time for myself.
ReplyDeleteAfter I've finished, and come back to the real world I look at myself in the mirror and think, yeah that world was fun... but this world is so much better!!
