DIY Cloud Art and more Dining room sneak peeks!

Here is another small sneak peak of our dining room!
A'int it purty.

Do you like my cloud art?

I made it myself...another DIY that looks waaaaay more pricey than it actually was.

I took some cool photos of white puffy clouds and had them blown up 28" x 40" on glossy poster paper. It was 30 bucks to blow up and then I framed them in Ribba's from Ikea. I photo shopped the images a bit to make them have that Lomo camera poloroid vibe and Wallah! Big original art for under 60 bucks! Woop Woop!

This famous photo was my inspiration! I love how it makes the outside feel inside....Kinda makes the room look and feel bigger.

  15. Hi Lovers....The light fixture is vintage from a thrift store In Pasadena Ca....I found it buried under a bunch of crap.
The rug is also vintage purchased from ebay
The chairs are eames knock offs
And the dining table is Restoration.
My husband and I built the banquette and I had the cushions made custom. I just threw an old suazani over the bottom cushion to add some color and protect it from the little ones grubby paws!
I am glad you all are pickin up what I am putting down!

  60. walla....from http://www.urbandictionary.com/

Walla is a word used by retarded Americans who don't know any foreign languages and barely know their own. The correct word they are looking for is "voila", which loosely translates as "here it is", "there you go", or similar meanings.

Of course, the word voila properly pronounced in French sounds a bit like "vwalla", but with the "v" in front pronounced softly, almost like an "f". Being stupid Americans though, they can't pronounce anything which doesn't sound 100% English (not that they can pronounce English either) so in their incredibly lazy way, they don't even try to pronounce it correctly.
Want to see a stupid retarded American? points at self Walla!

So I was on a cruise around the world and we were heading towards American territory again. This lady on the ship asked me who the stupidest people in the world are. So I pointed at America and said "Walla!"
