Art hangin on Bookshelves?

We have tons of books at Casa Lewis but we also have tons of art with not that much wall space. My solution, hang it on the bookshelves. What do you think?

  2. I love hanging art on my shelves. I can hide my less attractive book spines and change out the art as I please! Try it!

  8. I like the look but it seems very impractical for those who need to access their books on a regular basis. It could work in a formal library where the books are more for show than reading. If I went to a room with artwork over the books, I would assume that the books were intended as art objects rather than bearers of ideas and imagery.

  9. This look has really grown on me. I have to admit I wasn't for it the first time I saw it, but now it's great. I love the pictures you chose!

  10. Love the look but only if it's smaller art. Just my opinion! It keeps everything functional - if you have to take the art down to get to your things it's too big. :) Love the blog!
