Hi... if any of your haven't heard of the AMAZE BALLS
Bijou and Boheme you must go take a gander. The lovely Christine, the genius behind the blog, asked me to take part in her awesome "Style in Seven Series". It was really fun and hard to narrow down my fave style inspiring images down to ONLY 7 but I gave it a crack.
It is up for your viewing pleasure so go take a prowl!
B T Dubbs...... I painted my Laundry Room Doors Chalkboard... what do you think..
It took me G's entire 3 hour afternoon nap to finish...12 coats of chalkboard paint later and Whalla!
Only Problem is I am to afraid to put chalk on them now....Thanks guys!
So glad I came across your blog from B and B! Great post btw. You got oodles of style and this chalk board just proves that once again! What you planning on writing on there? Is it more for creativity or practical? or both? Is chalk paint expensive?

ReplyDeleteYour doors look great! About to pop over to B&B to read your post!
ReplyDeleteThe doors were worth 12 coats of paint..love them!! Off to B& B to check out your post!
ReplyDeleteHi ya'll! I was exagerating on the doors a bit...don't worry they only took about 4 coats each door...but I had to sand the doors a bit first to make sure the paint would really stick. It was worth it though and a cheap way to add some funk. The paint is about 12 bucks a quart. I am glad everybody is into them!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have come accross your beautiful blog via Parlour amd B&B! (I thought 2 in a week can't be wrong!!)
ReplyDeleteHave the same problem with my chalkboard wall!! We painted a whole wall about 3 months ago and my partner refuses to put chalk on it - thinks it will damage the paint. Please update us if you decide to take the plunge!
Loving your blog!
I loved your post over on Bijou! I added that band to my list of music to check out. Love the doors like this, that was a good spot to pick!
